TTG offers custom training classes in AlignStar for advanced users or those who would prefer training at their own location. The curriculum of the training session is identical to the open enrollment class however, in some cases it can be customized to suit your particular application needs. Custom classes typically last between one and two days, depending on the number of participants, familiarity with AlignStar, etc.
If you select a multi-day class, the first day of the training is similar to the introductory class (click here for a sample outline), covering topics such as how to:
- Create AlignStar documents and link to your data
- Use AlignStar to map and evaluate existing sales hierarchies
- Map data and locations such as sales reps
- Realign territories, districts and regions to optimize territories
- Print maps, reports and export data
The second day of the training is largely dependent on the client. Some common activities are:
Reviewing the topics covered during the main portion of class, substituting live client data for sample data
- Answering questions specific to the client's application
- Running optimizations based on client data
- Going over strategies for work sessions, data integrity, etc.
- Live work on existing projects
