TTG offers a comprehensive one-day introductory training class for AlignStar territory management software that is specifically designed to train users how to:
- Create AlignStar documents and link to your data
- Use AlignStar to map and evaluate existing sales hierarchies
- Map data and locations such as sales reps and accounts
- Realign and optimize territories, districts, regions, and areas
- Print maps, reports and export data

In an effort to maximize the benefit of the session, all classes are limited to six participants. The one-day intensive AlignStar session is held at TTG's training facility in Bedford, MA, and covers the most commonly used commands and features and their use in the sales territory analysis and realignment process. Previous experience with AlignStar is not required, although users are expected to have a basic understanding of Windows, data file structures and database concepts to get the maximum benefit from the class.
The first part of the training session is classroom style instruction beginning with a conceptual overview of the program. The instructor uses sample data and map files to introduce the participants to the basic navigational, data analysis and territory alignment methods available in AlignStar. The second part of the class is a "hands-on" session allowing the participants to use the skills they have learned and provides an opportunity to ask questions about their application.
