Nielsen's Designated Market Area (DMA®) Add-On brings new functionality to your AlignStar software. Now you can map and design and optimize territories using the Nielsen DMA boundaries.
DMA® Add-On Details
DMA® boundaries are a unique geographic area/media market defined by Nielsen Media research so that the entire US is assigned to one of some 210 DMAs®. Nielsen states: "Designated Market Areas (DMAs®) are used by Nielsen Media Research to identify TV stations whose broadcast signals reach a specific area and attract the most viewers. A DMA® consists of all counties whose largest viewing share is given to stations of that same market area. Non-overlapping DMAs® cover the entire continental United States, Hawaii and parts of Alaska."
The DMA® Add-On:
- Adds seamlessly to your current AlignStar installation
- Allows territory creation (excluding point and line layers)
- Available to all active AlignStar license holders for an additional license fee
- Can be used by all AlignStar Editions
- Supports all the features in AlignStar including the Territory Expert and the Optimizer
